Bonnie and Clyde
Okay, so the names are actually Renee and Chris, but I just couldn't resist with that title for the blog entry. I had so much fun with these two. The wedding took place in Presque Isle Maine. For the geographically challenged, it almost as far north as you can go in Maine. Renee, a former Miss Maine grew up in this lovely northern farming town. Chris is Canadian born, and he knew that he needed to find a woman that at least could see the border to his homeland. These two have great friends and family, which was obvious by the group that assembled from afar to help them celebrate in style.
The Bonnie and Clyde thing comes from the car that they arranged to take them from the ceremony to the reception. A classic 1930's DeSoto that had been confiscated by the FBI back in it's day. A true gangster mobile! It sat in an FBI warehouse until the current owner met a guy, who knew a guy, who knew another guy....... It's a great story - leave it at that.
It was gorgeous car, and we had too much fun hamming it up and just having fun. We also had a good time cruising around Renee's hometown and finding locales that helped tell a little bit of the story of where she grew up and the connection to this beautiful landscape. Our time in the wheat fields was really special for me. It was only 10 minutes of the day, but one of my favorite things is to see a landscape, come up with an idea, and then have a bride and groom that are excited to see it come to fruition.
The receptions of course was just as much fun(ok -more so!) and the family and friends partied in grand style.
Thanks so much for making me part of your day. I had way too much fun. Click here to be re-directed to the slideshow of some of my favorite images of the day.

Hi Chris!
I just want you to know that Chris and I checked out our photos and we are so EXCITED and VERY HAPPY with them. We loved them all! They are all so beautiful. You were really able to capture our personalities and the personalities of our family and friends which was very important to us. It's going to be so hard to pick our favorites. I also would like you to know that everyone in the wedding party, including Chris and me, really enjoyed working with you. You did a wonderful job of making everyone feel comfortable and blending in with the wedding.....it was such a pleasure working with you on our wedding day and we couldn't imagine hiring anyone else. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and for pulling out a killer "chain saw" on the dance floor! We had a great time working with you and look forward to pulling our album together.
Thanks again for everything!
Renee
PS- I'd be more than happy to recommend you to anyone!
