Eastland Park Hotel Wedding ~ Sarah D. & Kevin T.

Eastland Park Hotel Wedding

Sarah D. & Kevin T.

This quiet Sunday wedding took place at the church across from Portland’s Eastland Park Hotel in an old and beautiful stone and brick church.

I had never met Kevin until Sunday but this past year when I met with Sarah I felt like we connected right away. Perhaps it was her big smile or light laugh or her beautiful red hair, but what ever it was I felt in touch with this bride more than most. And for the second time in as many days, my clients had set aside more than enough time to allow me to create some amazing images of them with their new spouse. Sarah plans events for a living and photography was high on her list, so I was given ample time for photos and the results show it. I am so excited to be working on these photos for the slideshow because I know that Sarah and Kevin will really get a kick out of some of the unique images we created working together.

One of a handful of moments that made this day special was a gift from a total stranger. We were all up on Portland’s Munjoy hill over looking the ocean and had planned to use a gazebo for group photos. But a church service had taken our stage and we had to improvise. There sat a man with his bright yellow 1909 convertible car. Just begging to be used for a bridal shoot. I ran down the hill, introduced myself and asked if we could use his car for a few photos of the bride and groom. This kind man went so far as to move the car (hand crank just to start it) and invited Sarah and Kevin into this killer ride. Check at the photo below. So thanks to the nameless man for being so kind and allowing us to use your car on this wedding day.

And thanks to Sarah and Kevin for an amazing day! Your wedding photos are like no other and your slide show is almost done.

Cheers

Tim
