Katie and Everett
Usually I try to get my posts about a wedding up within two days. I'm finding myself playing catch up with Katie and Everett, although I imagine they are still in Jamaica enjoy rum drinks and tropical breezes. They came to me via referral; it's always fun to get new clients from a past wedding customer as there is almost an instant rapport. I spent a good part of the morning with the girls at Bella Vita salon in Waterville as they readied for the day. If your ever in Waterville check it out, the owner is fantastic and has really made her business into an island of contemporary spa type services in a seemingly unlikely location. I enjoyed watching the transformations take place and creating images along the way as the large group of ladies enjoyed being pampered by the staff. It was extra special to watch the flower girl and jr. brides maid, as they were just bursting with excitement.
I think my favorite part of the day was the brides maid dance that took place during the reception. All the ladies, led by the bride, danced a rehearsed routine to Gretchen Wilsons
"Redneck Woman". It was a riot. Of course the groom got convinced to join the fun, and he just couldn't hang with those ladies.
Guests and family: keep an eye on rileyclients.com for a slide show and all the photos from the day.
