About a months ago in the New York Time was an article about a new trend in the wedding business. A trend I knew nothing about. I guess it is becoming popular for people to have end of the summer weddings held at summer camps in Maine just after the campers leave. What a perfect idea!
This past weekends wedding was held at Camp Manitou in Oakland Maine. I think many of the guest from out of town arrived a few days early and stayed in the campers cabins. A weekend long party that ended with a wedding and reception. Camp Manitou was a perfect place for a wedding and a blast to take photos of the bride and groom. We used the basket ball court, the mini green monster complete with a citgo sign and of course the lake. This couple was great fun to work with and as I review the photos I am find myself smiling because they seem to be kissing is almost half of the photos. Its really cute to see them so excited on their wedding day. It kind of reminds me of how I felt on my wedding day.
