Meaghan and Matt

Occasionally you get to shoot a wedding and after getting to know the bride and groom a little you start to wonder how it is that your lives haven't crossed paths sooner. This past weekend was just such an event. The common interests we discovered ranged from skis, to boats, to bikes, to rivers, and interestingly, crafting tasty homebrews. Wish I had a chance to sample yours Matt. I hope that someday we get to cross on a wilderness path

It was as perfect a day weather wise that one could imagine. Crystal clear skies, crisp air, warm but not hot, and the tone of the day was "laid back and fun". I got a chance to hang out with the ladies as they prepped, which was a laugh a minute. The ceremony was thought provoking, elegant, and yet perfectly simple. It fit their personalities well.

The reception was the perfect back yard party with live music, great food, and a whitewater raft full of beverages. People danced and partied and were still at it hard when I left. I imagine that a few of the more rugged souls were still at it til the early hours of the morning.

Thanks for a great day Meaghan and Matt. I had a lot of fun and hope that we cross paths soon.
