Kate and Russ

What a blast I had this past weekend. I spent Saturday in Bar Harbor at the Bar Harbor Club photographing the wedding of Kate and Russ. I had too much fun with both wedding party and family, and as I said to Russ at one point in the evening, "with people like you it's easy to bring your "A" game to the party! You guys are great!!!!
They were excited about all the different types of images we created and were game for anything I could throw at them. They even came up with some great ideas for shots on their own. The forecast was not good, and yet somehow they managed to call on some pretty big favors to get the rain to hold off so that we could spend time outside getting the photos of the wedding party. In fact the rain held off all day and at times during the night the party gladly moved outside to the porch to enjoy the cool spring air and the scenery of the coast. On all levels the day was a huge success and these two are destined for a wonderful life together that will for sure be surrounded by the love of two amazing families and a group of fantastic friends.

Karla & Ryan

Chris was up north on Saturday while I spent the day with Karla & Ryan at the Dockside guest quarters and restaurant in York Harbor Maine. Despite a little rain, the day was a major success complete with fireworks, dancing, cigars and aviator glasses that never got removed from the eye of all the men in the wedding party. Ryan & Karla met at Union College, got engaged here in Maine and felt the need to bring the story full circle and tie the knot here on the Maine coast. Under the protection of a tent, over looking the ocean, Karla and Ryan tied the knot with the help from Karla’s brother as the officiant. It was great meeting you all and spending the day together. Below are a few photos from the day that I thought you might enjoy. You can also see the slideshow of my favorite photos at www.rileyclients.com

Jodi & Jeff

What a Day! I spent last Sat. with Jodi & Jeff as they tied the knot. The weather was amazing and these two had a blast. Open to almost anything, these two will end up with some of the best formals of the year. We actually did a 10 minute session with them alone in a graveyard. Not normal! but the results a sooo cool. Keep your eye on www.rileyclients.com for a slideshow of my favorite photos in the next day or two.
