Corrie and Troy

The weekend before last I got to spend the day in the Bangor area capturing the wedding of Corey and Troy. It was a perfect winter wedding. The night before the big day the region was graced with a minor snowfall and by morning the clouds were gone. In their wake only blue sky and blinding white landscapes were left. The day started in Winterport, the couples home town. We migrated to Hermon for the ceremony and eventually landed in Bangor on the banks of the Penobscot river for the reception at the Muddy Rudder. Here are a couple images from the day. For a bigger peak check out the slideshow of my favorite images from the day. Click here.

2007 Recap.

A fellow photographer friend of ours made a suggestion in 2006 that changed our lives in 2007. She suggested that we decide what we love about photographing weddings most, and then show off those images on our website..... It sounds sooo simple, but it really helped us as artists. The result was a 2007 wedding season with photos & clients that rock!

What we love: We love capturng images and working with our clients during the entire wedding day. Picking one type of photo that is our "favorite" is soo hard. The nervousness of the preparation is great fun. The emoition of the service is heartfelt. The celebration of the reception is always a blast. But its time with the bride and groom alone that seems to stand out in our eyes.

In 2007 we were blessed to have most of our clients be really excited about getting some amazing photos with just the bride and groom. Typically we would ask their family to "take a hike" and for as little as 10 minutes and as much as an hour, we would create some magic.

Below are just a few of our favorite photos from 2007. We have SO SO SO many more to show you, but these are the ones that jump out at us at the moment.
