Will and Sheri came to me via a friend and peer whom I admire and respect a great deal.(www.belportraits.com) At our initial meeting we hit it off wonderfully and I knew that I was going to have a blast with this couple. Over the next year as they planned their wedding I got to have a little insight into their lives and all that they are trying to accomplish. This couple is going places – fast! They are individually a ton of fun and together make an amazing couple.
On the weekend of their wedding Maine was awash in one of this summers’ many deluges. As I navigated washed out roads and forded lake size puddles in my little jetta I feared I would arrive to a distraught bride. Not even in the slightest!(Freeport made national news that day for the flooding) The gray day was not going to get this girl down. I think the weather gods took notice of her attitude and gave her a break. The rain dissipated as the day progressed and we were able to do quite a bit of outdoor shots. They ended up with a great day, a beautiful ceremony, and a rockin’ party. What more can you ask for…..???
