Spending 30 minutes to an hour alone with my wedding clients on the wedding day is the highlight of the event for me. It is in this short period of time that I am able to capture the true connection between a newly married couple. But on the day of a wedding, time flies and often this “alone time” is cut short. About two years ago we started to offer clients a chance to “play” a little with us before the wedding. We call this TRASH THE DRESS
The groom arrives dressed in anything but shorts.
The bride usually arrives in a used (inexpesive) wedding dress.
Often we pick a location or theme that speaks to the couples. In this case, it was all about creating a few edgy photos and making sure to include their old muscle car. We have done photos at night on the beach and even photos in an old junk yard. The crazier the idea, the more fun the results!
