Tim Riley

I look up from my lens as I stand in a back alcove of a stone church on the rocky, raw coast of Maine and see a new life forming as rings are placed on hands that will hold each other through life’s ups and downs.  Immediately I have to duck back behind the lens because I find myself getting teary thinking about my wife and the start of our journey 6 years ago.

This is my photography.  This is my dream.  This is why I love my clients.  They ignite in my mind images of beautiful things as they form a future.  I see the birth of children, the nights walking in the surprise rain storm, the house they will fill with laughter and homemade cookies.  And I want to be a part of it.  I want to know how the story proceeds.  In short, I want to document your life, as it begins, as it unfolds, and beyond that.  I hope to become your friend.  At your 50th wedding anniversary, I want to be able to tell guests that the love in your eyes is as fresh as when I stood in that alcove in that stone church.

I could list credentials, worlds captured, and other past accomplishments, but that is not why you care about me.  Here is what you should know.  My wife is the love of my life and my best friend.  We have a daughter that is spirited and has taught me to love even deeper than I thought possible.  I ski, and surf, and I love eating out in Portland.  One day I hope to teach my kids to fish at a lake house, and take my wife to tuscany.

I hope you love the images on the site, but I hope you are looking for an experience that doesn’t end with the last dance at a reception.  I want to be your photographer and your friend, not just your wedding photographer.   Thank you for coming to our site.
